Places to hide the code
- Inside the final page of a small photo album
- Behind a framed photograph
- On a card attached to flowers or a meal
- Inside a book at a meaningful passage
- At the last stop of a simple at-home trail
Destinations worth opening
Link to a narrated photograph, an anniversary timeline, a set of sealed notes, a private playlist with commentary, or a full relationship page. Avoid sending them to an unlabelled cloud folder.
Protect the surprise
Use an unlisted, hard-to-guess page and optional password protection for sensitive photographs. Do not put the proposal, secret message, or private photo in the social preview.
Print and test
Give the code quiet space around its edges, print it at a useful size, and test the physical copy with two phones before sealing the gift. Include a short instruction such as ‘Open your camera’ for anyone unfamiliar with scanning.
